Support Our Vision

Make a direct impact with your gift

Support our vision by making a direct contribution online, sponsoring a student, or donating through other means. Our direct support to Christian institutions keeps their services and thus the Christian presence and influence of key importance in the Holy Land.

Scholarship Program

Scholarships are offered at various church-affiliated schools in line with the Order’s ecumenical tradition. Sponsors can choose to support a student either by name or anonymously, and scholarships typically cover multiple years for stability.

Holy Land Legacy

Become a Legacy Donor

Our Holy Land Legacy program is for donors who wish to know that long after they have passed and God has welcomed them into the Kingdom of Heaven, support for Christians and their presence in the Holy Land will continue.

Joining the Raymond Davis Society is simple and easy. If you have made a current gift or future bequest in excess of $10,000, then you are eligible for membership. All you have to do is let us know. You can remain anonymous if you choose. Learn more about how to join below.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I donate to the Raymond Davis Foundation?

The easiest way is to use our online donation form. This will allow you to send money via your credit card, ACH from your bank, or other account.

You may also mail a check to us via the bookkeeping firm that manages our accounts:

GENERAL RAYMOND G. DAVIS TEMPLAR FOUNDATION INC.
c/o Adams Financial LLC,
2 Columbia Rd #9
Pembroke, MA 02359

I would like to donate directly to the Foundation via my 401k/ IRA to avoid taxes. Can I do that and can I do so with my RMD?

Absolutely, we have many individuals who do this via recurring as well as one time gifts. Please reach out to us via email and we will have our investment account manager Peter Nee assist you in the process.

I would like to sponsor a scholarship. How do I do that?

Read more about our scholarship program, then, please reach out to us via email at raymonddavisfoundation@smotj.org. We will be happy to match up a student with you.

Can I donate appreciated stock, real estate, or other items of value?

The short answer is yes but please reach out to us at the Foundation before hand so we can discuss the mechanics of such an arrangement.

Can I contact the student I sponsor directly?

We can pass sponsor contact information and letters to students via the schools they attend but we cannot guarantee the students will reply. The vast majority of our students are still in high school and English is either a 2nd or 3rd language for them. Many students lack confidence in their ability to communicate effectively in English.

How can I receive updates from the student I sponsor or the school they attend?

We regularly coordinate the delivery of messages and photos of supported students to scholarship sponsors. Beyond that, the best way to receive updates is via our private Raymond Davis Foundation Facebook group. Almost all the schools have Facebook pages they post updates to and these can be quickly translated automatically to English. We monitor all the school websites and share those updates to our Raymond Davis Foundation Facebook group.

You can request access to the page by sending an email to Jim Fosbrink at james.fosbrink@yahoo.com. Once a member of the group, you can invite other members of your priory to join the group.

In Their Words

  • Thank you very much for choosing me for your scholarship! It means a lot! It helps my family so much, and makes me feel special and proud. Because of your support I won't be moved to a government school, I can stay in my school, and I can come to school every day with everything I need. In the future I want to be a doctor so I can help people and make them feel better. I will study hard to make my parents proud. I hope you will be proud, too.

  • I would like to thank you for sponsoring my tuition fee. Personally, I enjoy mostly everything at school, but the one subject that I actually enjoy is chemistry... I hope to enhance my chemistry skills, and expand in the fields of medicine. I’m very grateful for you kindness and generosity.

  • I am truly honored and thankful for being given this amazing scholarship. The school has shaped the way I learn and has guided me towards a better educational ideology in history, chemistry, math, Hebrew, and Arabic. This opportunity has given me a chance to further educate myself in many aspects that I had never experienced before and has helped create a more just plan to continue my journey towards my desire of studying in law school. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for sponsoring my tuition fee.

  • As a senior high school student graduating is approaching just too quickly. I'm filled with a mix of emotions—excitement for the future, a touch of sadness for the memories I'll leave behind, and immense appreciation for the incredible journey I've had at the Orthodox School of Bethany. Your kindness has played a significant role in making the experience so special, and I truly appreciate it.
