La Salle School Furnishings
We undertook to equip the La Salle College des Freres - Beit Hanina school with new furnishings, classroom by classroom, at a cost of $2660 per room.
When I first learned of the Raymond Davis Foundation scholarship program in 2018 the first question I had was: “How do we know if the program is effective at helping Christians remain in the Holy Land?” I’ve been serving as the “Co-Scholarship Program Director” for almost 4 years now. In this role, I frequently interact with senior leaders at the high schools and universities where we sponsor students.
I’m constantly amazed by all the good news stories from these institutions. Many of these are posted to our private Raymond Davis Foundation group on Facebook where only a small number of our SMOTJ members view them. This update about our Bethlehem University graduates needs to reach the widest audience possible. These young women are all excelling in their career fields and spreading hope in the region.
We will begin receiving new student nominations this fall, and I hope these success stories encourage new members to support them.
Hi, my name is Dunia, I’m 25 years old and a proud nursing graduate from Bethlehem University. Since July 2021, I’ve been working at Caritas Baby Hospital—a place devoted entirely to the care of children and infants. Being part of this compassionate team has been a truly rewarding journey. It’s here that I’ve grown both personally and professionally, gaining hands-on experience in pediatric care and deepening my passion for nursing. Every day brings new lessons, and I’m grateful to contribute to a place where healing and hope go hand in hand. (Sponsored by Reezin Swilley Jr., Texas)
