Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul (The Creche)
Bethlehem
Located in central Bethlehem, The Creche exists to serve and protect the most vulnerable children and mothers in the region. Both cultural and legal norms are quite different and strict in this region, and the very young children abandoned to The Creche have very poor prospects. Only allowed to keep these marginalized children until the age of 6, The Creche aims to give them love and affection and a decent start in life during these early formative years before they must move on.
