The Franciscans of the Order of Friars Minor are the custodians and caretakers of stones—the ancient stones of Holy places, and the "Living Stones" of the Christians still residing in the Holy Land. Their works are extensive, impressive, and critical to communities in the Holy Land. Via the U.S. based Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land we provide significant grants to the Custos in addition to numerous scholarships at Franciscan schools.
